Illumination

Illuminates using industrial-grade glow-in-the-dark pigment which is infused into the injection molded letter and chevron forms.

Mounting

The product can be mounted on surfaces, flags or ceilings with the included hardware. It has a low profile aluminum construction and comes with a mounting bracket. Before installation, it's important to ensure that there is a minimum of 5 foot-candles (54 lux) of fluorescent MH or MV light on the face(s) of the sign at all times during building occupancy. It is suitable for both high level and low location mounting, and can even be installed on floors.

The sign doesn't use a housing.

Options

The options available for this product are Surface, flag, or ceiling mounted options and Chevron kit included for directional illumination.

Listings

The product is UL 924 Listed for safety and performance standards in emergency lighting equipment, and is also listed for indoor/outdoor and wet locations. Installation

The sign installs using 2 to 4 screws.

Electrical

The sign is non-electrical but glows for 90 minutes or more using industrial-grade glow in the dark pigments that require 5ft candles or 54lux to be present on the face of the sign under normal conditions during building occupancy.

Mechanical

There are no moving parts or circuitry. The sign when back mounted does not use a frame. When top or side mounted, the included bracket is used. An optional upgraded fully extruded aluminum framing system is available.

Applications

Dry, Damp, Wet, Cold, or Hot locations without access to electricity to power an electrical sign, or where running electricity is cost-prohibitive.

Optics

The sign is viewable without internal illumination under normal operating conditions. In darkness, the sign glows and is rated for 100ft viewing distances. 

Construction

The background is made of polycarbonate materials. The letters are injection molded with industrial-grade glow in the dark pigments. The arrows are adhesive using VHB (Very High Bond) industrial-grade double-sided tape. The standard mounting bracket for top and side is made of durable polycarbonate materials. An optional extruded aluminum framing system is available along with an aluminum backplate to improve the signs aesthetics in top/side mounted configurations. Our Gray on Gray unit is an exclusive model that features color blended face plate printing and premium color-matched framing.
